Customer Requirements
Our customer needed a custom spring-loaded carrier to hold part-specific trays during full rotation. The design needed to include an easy way for the trays to be loaded and unloaded. It also needed to compress the trays tightly to secure the parts in place during the cleaning application and transportation process. The carrier basket also needed to fit in their existing washer and allow for enough flow to properly clean their parts.
Our Solution
Three M Tool designed a custom carrier basket with a sturdy frame and open mesh to allow for proper cleaning. The bottom of the carrier basket included conical springs to secure the trays in place. The laser cut part trays allowed for easy part loading. Our design included a top stacking ring and latch bars to secure the compression lid. The baskets are 304 stainless steel construction throughout with natural finish.
