Hanger Hooks to hold Frying Pans and Lids on Overhead Conveyor LineÂ
A frying pan manufacturer needed stainless steel hooks to hold various sizes and shapes of frying pans and lids on an overhead conveyor line that moves the parts through a spray wash tunnel, a booth that applies surface coating, then through a baking – curing oven.

Customer Requirements
The customer manufactures a variety of sizes and shapes of frying pans and lids that need be processes on an overhead conveyor to be washed, seasons and cured. The larger pans are quite heavy so the hangers needed to be strong and durable. And the line moved fast so the hooks needed to be very easy to load and unload.
Our Solution
Three M Tool created a Conveyor Carrier design that held the variety pans and lids safely and securely without blocking the streams of washer spray, drying air, or coating spray. Our design was 45″ tall x 7″ wide and was made from 3/8″ diameter Stainless Steel rod with TIG welded joints for strength and durability. Side wings and extra hooks accept a large range of current and future product shapes.    Â
