Our customer manufactures clipper blades and needed a stainless steel tray and carrier system to hold the blades through a full rotation cleaning process, a heat treating process, and a chemical dip. The system needed to be easy to load to keep up with their high volume production lines, the system had to secure the parts so they couldn’t fall out or get damaged in the full rotation cleaning process, and the design had robust enough to withstand rough handling in the various different processes.

Three M Tool designed a system that used Part Skewers to align and holds parts by two through holes, then the loaded skewers fit into and latched securely in Skewer Racks.
